Giving Thanks with TPE!

Today at The Pink Elephant we're doing something a little bit different! We have all created a special 'Giving Thanks' card or layout in Celebration of Thanksgiving! Now being a Canadian gal, I celebrated Thanksgiving way back in October with my family and had a great time. I hope the same for my U.S. friends! Happy Thanksgiving!!!

One thing I'm thankful for is being on this wonderful team of sweet and very talented girls! You all inspire me and want to thank you all and LORI for having me on this wonderful team!!! Also to all of the amazing followers of TPE, it really couldn't be possible with out you!!! So, Thank You!!! Hmm I guess thats 2 things!!!

For my card I used a little wee stamp from DeNami, that I had never inked up. I went on a bus trip a while back to a Stamp show and found the DeNami Designs booth for the very first time. Oh my, they have the cutest little stamps, I think I grabbed some little chickie stamps for every occasion! These little pilgrim chicks are so cute I had to use them for this card! The 'So Thankful' sentiment is from Kraftin Kimmie called Thankful Sentiments!

Be sure to check out what the rest of the fabulous Design Team has to show you today!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful week!

Sweet Noelle!

Good afternoon everyone!!! Hope you're all enjoying your day where ever you are! Just a quick little post today to show you one of the latest Images by Baby Bud Designs!
Her name is NOELLE and she's just perfect for those Christmas/Holiday cards!

I had some scrap paper laying on my desk from some cards I've recently made. I coloured her up with my copics, added lots of glitter, pulled out my Nesties ovals and Labels 10, some scrappers floss and a little glittery snowflake sticker and she was done in a flash!

You can find NOELLE and the rest of her friends on the BABY BUD ETSY SHOP!

I also just wanted to give a quick little shout out to the wonderful ladies who attended my first class over at SCRAPPIN GREAT DEALS last Saturday!!! It was great meeting you and you all made me feel so comfortable. I had a great time! I'll be doing another one on December 11th, hope to see you there!

Thanks for visiting my blog today! Have a good one!

If you just arrived via the super talented mom & daughter duo and my sweet friends Melanie and Ainsleigh you're in the right place! As you’ve seen over the last few days in our Krafty Peeks, Annie Rodrigue has created some totally awesome KRAFTY GIRLS this month! There are six images in the complete set and they are The Krafty Stamper, Annie the Artist, Mona the Seamstress, Natalie the Knitter, Lavender the Quilter and Sabrina the Spinner! Each one comes with it’s own matching accessory stamp and a bonus coordinating sentiment!

And Steven Leary is back with MILES THE MOUSE and his pals and they are having some frosty winter fun! You’ll get to check them all out in today’s November release day KRAFTY HOP!! You’ll meet Miles on Ice, Miles and Winter Friends, Skating Polar Pal, Skiing Miles and Mice Angels! Two of them come with sentiments too!!

If you want to start from the beginning, just head over to the Kraftin’ Kimmie Challenge Blog! As you hop from blog to blog, be sure to leave a comment at each and every stop because some lucky stampers will win packages of stamps from the new release!! And when you’re done hoppin’, be sure to head over to the Kraftin’ Kimmie shop, because ALL the new images are NOW available!

Today I'm showing you Miles on Ice! Isn't he cute??? I love how he's sitting on the broken block of ice with the look of remorse on his little mousy face...too cute!!!

Here's a close up so you can see that I used some Crackle Accents on the ice, unfortunately it made my black ink run a bit. You still get the effect of the cracked ice though. Does any one know how to use it without it making your ink bleed?

Anyway, hope you're enjoying your little journey so far, this is one fabulous release! Your next stop is the super talented and my crafty sistah Tracy, you'll love what she's got for you!!!

Thanks for stopping by!

Sneek peek day 3 AND a Challenge!!

Today is challenge day at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and its also day 3 of the preview for the new November stamps!!! I'm just lovin' this new release, and hope you are too!
Today's my turn for playing hostess and I want to see you use
'FUNKY FIBRES'
any kind of fun ribbon, string, yarn, fabric etc....
I thought this challenge theme would be perfect for the new release, and had envisioned my card a little different than it turned out. I did use some funky yellow 'yarn like string' on my card, if you look close enough its there!! I also added some crochet yarn to the button border. I stamped up Mona the Seamstress on Neenah cardstock and coloured her with my copics. While at at scrapfest last month I scored big on embellishments that I knew would go perfectly with Mona. The little singer sewing machine charm, the dp by Little Yellow Bicycle called 'Clothes Line' & the big button and thread border punch from EK Success.

So lets see your creations this week! If you enter your card you'll be in the draw to win 'MONA the Seamstress'!!! She comes with the sentiment 'Thanks sew much' and a little pair of scissors accessory stamp! Woo hoo!!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!

A new Challenge at C&Co!!!

This is my 2nd post for today. For my KKS post please scroll down!
Welcome to another fabulous challenge at Claudia & Company Stamps!
We'd like to thank everyone who played along with us for our last challenge! We saw some amazing cards!
This month's challenge is a colour challenge!
CREAM, BROWN & A COLOUR OF YOUR CHOICE!

I chose to use Winter Landon for my card and decided on the colour AQUA for my 3rd colour! I think he's one of my favorite Puddle Jumpers by Lori Boyd from the November release! I coloured him up with my copics, cut him out and popped him onto some My Minds Eye dp that I got from DCRU! I added the gorgeous pearl swirl embellishment from Basic Grey and a big brown satin ribbon to finish it off!

We'd love to see you play along with us, the only rule is to use any Claudia & Co Stamp! Lets see what you've got!!!

Thanks for playing along!

Sneek Peek Day 2!!!

Welcome to day 2 of the sneek peeks for Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!
Today I'm featuring 'Skiing Miles' from Steven Leary!

I'm not a skiier (kinda goes with the whole 'not being a winter person'), but I loved this stamp when I saw it. He looks like he's having way too much fun and maybe just a little bit out of control which makes me chuckle! I coloured him up with my copics and used my nesties to frame him in. I added some white flower soft for the snow. The dp is by Imaginisce and I added a white bow and some green rhinestones to the centres of the snowflakes.

We have a brand new challenge starting tomorrow so come on back to check it out for your chance to win the brand new release stamp that I will be featuring on my card!!!

Thanks for stopping by!

Kraftin' Kimmie Sneek Peek day 1!!!

The time has come again to start the previews for the brand new Kraftin Kimmie Stamps November release!
Over the next few days the Krafty Girls will be showing off some wonderful samples of the new line up of stamps illustrated by Annie Rodrigue and Steven Leary!
Today I'm showing you Annie the Painter!!!

Isn't she fabulous???? I love her hair, and outfit and how she comes with a blank canvas. My imagination started to run wild with that, but this is what I came up with in the end. I thought it would be fun to try and put a Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp from Annie on the canvas. I chose Charlotte because she's one of my all time favourites and one of the best sellers!

I stamped Charlotte & Annie onto a piece of Neenah paper, then using my scanner, I scanned them into a word document. Once in Word, I shrunk Charlotte down until she fit nicely onto Annie's canvas. This took a bit of fiddling around but I eventually got it. Once she was on the canvas I printed her off on the remaining piece of Neenah. I cut out the front panel of the canvas and coloured her up (very carefully...lol), then paper pieced it to the original stamped image so it fit perfectly!!! Clear as mud??? lol!!! I must say I had the most fun colouring up the tiny little Charlotte!

I paper pieced Annie to match the dp from My Minds Eye. Added some orange candy dots and ribbon to finish it off!

Make sure you check out the rest of the Krafty Girls to see their masterpieces! And come back tomorrow for another sneek peek!

Thanks for stopping by, hope you have a great day! Also, don't forget to wear your poppy today to commemorate and honour all of the soldiers for Rememberence Day!

How distressing!!!!!!!

We have another great challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!!! Today our super talented Krafty Girl Tara would like to see some kind of 'DISTRESSING' on your cards! You'll have the chance to win the stamp she used on her gorgeous card, so make sure you play along with us!

I know its waaaaaaay too soon to complain about the cold, but I am not a winter person! The only thing I like about winter is Christmas and hot chocolate! So for my card today, I decided to use 'Lounging Miles', because I want to be the one lounging in the chair!

I coloured him up with my copics and cut him out and mounted him onto some summery BoBunny paper I haven't touhced yet! The paper itself is distressed so I knew it would be perfect! I made my own button embellishment, and did alot of crumpling and tearing to achieve some kind of distressed look!

Make sure you check out what the rest of the Krafty Girls have to show you! I hope you have a great weekend. I'll be trying to stay warm!!!!!

Oh and our sneek peeks for the brand new November release will start on Thursday so don't forget to come back and check it out!!!!

Winter Party Preview Day 2!!!

Hi there! Welcome to day 2 of the Winter Preview at Claudia & Co. Stamps! I hope you enjoyed what you saw on Friday, cause there's lots more to come! Today we're featuring another adorable Puddle Jumper by Lori boyd and a cute little penguin by Jane Beljo!
This is 'Winter Landon'
Oh my goodness, how cute is this little duo????? Love them!!! I coloured them up with my copic markers and cut them out with my trusty cutter bee scissors! I dug through my left over Christmas paper from last year and found some that matched his coat. I added some Perfect Puff to the pom pom on his hat and some white flowersoft for snow on the ground. I got my inspiration for the layout on this fantastic blog here! Winter Landon comes with the little teddy bear and the sentiment 'happy winter'!
Now please meet:
Party the Penguin! What a cutie patootie!!! I used my copics again to colour him up and added some orange stickles to his beak and pom pom. I used my nestabilities (ovals, & labels 10) for the backdrop. I added some rhinestones and finally got around to using the 'pleated ribbon' look that I've been dying to try. I got my inspiration for this card from my sweet friend here! 'Party the Penguin' comes with the hat as an accessory and two sentiments 'Brrr' & 'U R Cool!'

Be sure to check out the rest of the Design teams previews! They are all just amazing! Don't forget to come back this Friday the 5th of November at 10:00 a.m. for the big Blog Hop Party! We'll have the digi team joining us along with a new guest designer. So much fun! You'll see the last 2 releases and if you leave a comment you'll have a chance to win a sweet little prize package from our sister company DIE CUTS RUS! Woo hoo!!!

See you Friday! Thanks for stopping by!
