Alot of pink goin on...

Today my card has ALOT of pink goin' on...thats because at Kraftin Kimmie Stamps, our wonderfully talented Krafty Girl Michele, wants to see
MONOCHROMATIC! Or MOSTLY Monochromatic anyway!
As long as there's ALOT of one colour with a little bit of somethin' else, then that counts!!!
Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps is also the sponsor this week over at CUTE CARD THURSDAY. They have a fantastic sketch for you this week which I did my very best to follow!
You can find the sketch HERE!

I've been dyin' to colour up cute little Goldilocks, which is part of the new Fairy Tale Release at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps! She is available to purchase now, check out the KKSTORE for the entire release!

I coloured Goldi up with my copics (I think I need a refill on my Y21, don't you just love those corkscrew curls? I have insanely curly hair and can't seem to tame them the same way...thats why I love my straightener..lol)! Anyway, I used alot of pinks for the dress and teddy bears and tried to match it to this great dp by Making Memories (Love Struck). I inked around the edges and used my copics to colour some prima flowers to also match the dp and added a button and a prima pebble to finish it off! See, lots of pink goin' on!!!

So make sure you play along with us this week, if you upload your card, you could win the stamp Michele used on her beautuful card, check it out!

Now, go check out what the other Krafty Girls have to show you & have a great weekend!

Beautiful Bows!!!

Meet Snow White! Isn't she the fairest of them all? haha! I think she is sooo very pretty, and though I didn't colour in her with the traditional blue, yellow and red, I think she looks like she could be in a fairy tale of her very own!

So, we want to see your beautiful bows! It can be any kind of bow, made from ribbon like mine (I looove my bow easy)...or it could be interpreted another way as long as there is a bow somewhere, we wanna see it!

If you enter your card you will be eligible to win this brand new Snow White stamp! Yep, before it even hits store shelves!!!

Check out the samples from the Krafty Girls to get your mojo flowing! Don't forget to come back tomorrow for the big Blog Hop! There will be lots of eye candy along with a chance to win some brand new Krafty Rubber!

Krafty Peek Day 2!

Its day 2 of the krafty peeks for the new July release over at

Today I'm giving you a peek at 'Little Red'...another great character by Annie Rodrigue!

Doesn't she look curious? Lost? Scared? I looove her! I actually have this image on a keychain I got from Annie's Etsy store! You could use this for many different types of cards! I had alot of fun colouring her up too!

I coloured her up with my copics then went in afterwards to add some deeper shading with my prismacolor pencils and gamsol. I had a hard time trying to find the perfect paper to go with Little Red...but finally settled on this great dp by DCWV. I love those little mushrooms! I added a big red button with a smaller green one in the centre and finished off with some ribbon.

Make sure you check out the other Krafty Girls' sneek peeks! And come back tomorrow for a brand new challenge hosted by ME along with another Fairy Tale of a peek!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!

Baby Lollipops!

So yesterday I showed you what you can do with some of the cute new
Digi Lollipops available HERE!
Today I've got a few more to show you!
Check out these adorable little Baby Lollipops designed by Lori Boyd!
(I coloured this one up as a bald little baby girl!)

How cute are these little pops? I must say I do enjoy using digital images, they can be resized to any size you need to suit your project, and you can fill up a whole page without getting your hands all inky! And the best part is they're very economical! That means more to spend on all that pretty paper...or markers or buttons?...lol!

So be sure to check out all the new Lollipop digis available HERE!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!

Lollipops x2!

Today...I'm giving you a sample of some of my very good friends' Lori Boyd's sweet Lollipops, x2! I just love them to bits! These sweet little images are now available to purchase as digi's exclusively by Claudia & Co Stamps!!! Check them all out HERE!

For my card I used Gracie and Dylan!
'Sigh' young love...

For this card, I was inspired by the wonderfully talented Linda Heavens and her card HERE! I remembered she had made that beautiful card with her magical colouring and all, and thought I'd try to find my inner Linda...I've got some work to do...lol. She's been MIA lately and wanted to let her know everyone is missing her at the Pickle!!! (our lss). Please get that wrist all healed up, as you can see I need some help with my grass...LOL!

I also tried the do-it-yourself cloud background for the first time. I cut out a little scalloped template and sponged away. I was trying to figure out why it didn't look right to me until I noticed that my clouds are upside down! Oops! Ah well, now I know for next time!

So if you just can't resist these sweet little Lollipops (like me), head over to DCRU! and check them all out!

Have a great day, thanks for stopping by!

Pocket full of Sunshine....

Happy Monday Everyone! I hope you enjoyed your weekend. Its time for another great Monday challenge with The Pink Elephant! Today we have a pocket full of sunshine for you:

Pocket Cards!

This week our great sponsor is Sassy Studio Designs! They have lots of fun images to play with so check them out!

I got to play with Crissy's Prom from the Sassy Fashionista line...

Here's my pocket card:

the inside:

I have to admit I've never done a pocket card before. My sweet friend Sheri gave me this great link to a tutorial (thanks Sheri) and I must say I'm a little hooked! Don't be surprised if you see more pocket cards coming...lol. I'm so used to just doing the boring traditional square cards 'cause they're fast and easy to whip up. But these ones are just as easy!

Be sure to play along with us this week at The Pink Elephant! And don't forget to check out what the Design Team has to show you!

Pink it Up!

Welcome to another fabulous challenge at Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps!

Today, our Princess Andrea...lol...wants to see you Pink it Up!

This definately wasn't a hard one for me. I looove PINK!

Today I used Calliope the Mermaid and her cute little 8 legged friend! She is now available to purchase individually at Kraftin' Kimmie Store. She also comes with 3 bonus accessory stamps! Awesome! Swing by and pick yours up today!

I coloured them on Beckett Expression paper with my copics and added lots and lots of glitter! I started to cut out the image so I could pop it onto a card and about half way through I thought 'what the heck was I thinking?'. It was pretty labour intensive (well for me anyway)...trying not to snip off octopus legs or mermaid hands etc...but I got through with some patience...so a million snips and tiny pop dots later...voila...ready to put on a card!

Now lets talk about the card. I'm not very happy with the way it turned out...I started to stitch around the edges and ended up with some weird funky looking stitch...I tried to fix my tension on my machine and nothing was working so I had to go with it! I wasn't starting over!!! Does anyone know what I might be doing wrong? I think I have to pull out my ancient heavy clunker of a machine which works awesome...its just so big and heavy oh and did I mention it's really old? Those ones are built the best though....The one I am using now is a cheapy from Zellers and now I know why it was a cheapy...hehe, that'll learn me! haha!

So make sure you play along with us this week. If you upload your card HERE you'll be eligible to win the stamp Nerissa that Krafty Girl Andrea used on her beautiful card! Check it out!

Make sure you take a look at what the awesome Krafty Girls have to show you! You'll be in pink mode for sure!

Thanks for stopping by, have a great weekend!

A Pink & Aqua Challenge!

Welcome to our 2nd Challenge at Claudia & Co. Stamps!

Today we have a super fun color challenge for you:

Pink & Aqua!

For my card I used the brand new Hannah Puddle Jumper!

Hannah PJ is so fun to colour up. She also comes with 2 accessory stamps (fish & star). I stamped the images on Beckett Expression paper and coloured them up with my copic markers. I cut them out and popped them onto a white circle cut with my nesties. I used some of my fav dp by My Minds Eye (lots of Aqua and Pink on this one!). I stamped her sunglasses twice, and popped them on her head for a 3d effect. I also added some clear glaze pen to them to make them look like real glasses. Oh and I used lots and lots of Star Dust Stickles! I loooove glitter!

So all you have to do is load up your card HERE and be sure to use a Claudia & Co. Stamp or digi stamp...you can find the wide variety HERE. You will be eligible to win a C&C Stamp of your very own just for playing along!

Also, just a reminder that DieCutsRUs is having a super sale going on until the 12th...be sure to check it out...there are some great deals!!!
